I believe that education is a lifelong process. I encourage students to be creative with their work, and curious about what is going on in their community and global world. I strive to prepare my students for college and career success to be globally competitive in the 21st century workplace. In doing so, I aim to develop a positive, innovative and technology-rich learning environment centered around student collaboration, communication, critical thinking and creative problem solving across all content areas.
I received my Bachelor's of Science degree and Teaching Credential from San Jose State University. Outside of the classroom, I can usually be found exploring and appreciating the outdoors, most often on two wheels. I have an open-door policy, and encourage you to communicate any student needs and/or concerns, in order to better facilitate your child's learning. Please feel to send a handwritten note, email, voicemail, or stop by before/after school. I am looking forward to an enriching and productive year! |
